Heat Pump Heating | Solar Thermal Panels
Griffiths can supply and install Solar Thermal Panels to supplement our Heat Pump Systems. We use the Schüco range of flat panels that are available in either Premium or Compact lines. Both lines can be installed on a roof and
the Premium line can also be recessed in place of the roof tiles. A special solar kit is available from Daikin Altherma to enable the panels and heat pump cylinder to be easily connected together. Our engineers have received specialist installation training at Schüco's training centre in Milton Keynes.
For private homes, generating heat through solar energy is the most sensible solution from a self-sufficiency point of view. Energy for hot water and heating is generated locally from your roof, without transport costs. The system is dimensioned according to your hot water requirements and is determined mainly by the number of collectors on the roof and the size of the storage cylinder.
