Why should you service the equipment?

Daikin recommend that low temperature (LT), high temperature (HT) and Hybrid Altherma air source heat pumps are serviced once a year. Not only does this ensure that the initial warranty conditions are complied with, but also that your system is checked to make sure it will run in its most efficient mode for the next 12 months.

To suit the requirements of different customers, Griffiths offer three levels of cover, all of which include the annual service. As detailed below.

GOLD COVER

Gold cover includes one annual complete system service and efficiency health check to optimise your heat pump's performance. In the event of a problem, there will be no call-out charges and an engineer shall be with you within 24 hours from the time of the call, including weekends. All labour charges are included with Gold cover but any parts supplied that are out of warranty, will be charged for.

SILVER COVER

Silver cover includes one annual complete system service and efficiency health check to optimise your heat pump's performance. In the event of a problem, there will be no call-out charges during normal working hours (8:00 to 17:00) or charge for the first hour on site. An engineer with be with you within 48 hours from the time of the call, within normal working hours (8:00 to 17:00). Silver cover provides a 50% discount on our standard hourly labour rates to carry out system repairs. Any parts supplied that are out of warranty, will be charged for.

BRONZE COVER

Bronze cover includes one annual complete system service and efficiency health check to optimise your heat pump's performance. In the event of a problem, Bronze cover provides a 50% discount on our standard call-out charges and an engineer will be with you within 72 hours from the time of call. Time spent carrying out repairs and any parts supplied that are out of warranty, will be charged for at our standard rates.
